Club News April 2021
Cheers to Our Members
As most of you know, we officially capped the club’s membership as of March 31st. The reason behind this decision was simple, and that was to provide our members with the best service possible! The wait list to join the club officially started April 1st and full initiation fee is in force. Prospective members can get on the list by paying 50% of the initiation fee to secure their spot, and the balance is due when a slot opens up. The initiation fee deposit is fully refundable if they want to be removed from the list.
We have exciting plans for the membership which include adding additional “member only” clinics and holding some fun and exclusive Member Appreciation Parties throughout the year! Stay tuned!
Join us for an exciting tennis exchange with our friends from Arrowhead Country Club on Saturday, April 17th! The fun starts at 5pm with some mixed up doubles. We will conclude the tennis with a special battle of Around the World that will pit club vs club! The winning club will be awarded an awesome traveling trophy to display at their club until the next meeting! After the tennis, we will be serving up jumbo hotdogs on the grill with picnic style side dishes and dessert. Because we are hosting the event, there is no charge for our guests, and members will be charged $15 per person to play. All levels are invited and we encourage you to come out and support your club. Please note that this is a member only event. Any questions, please see Coach Cody Kacerek.

March was a great month for our academy as we had several of our players competing all around the country. To start, Aditya Pandey and Anjani Vickneswaran played the L1 tournaments in Georgia and San Diego. The only way you can play this tournaments is if you’re a top ranked player in the nation. Even when they didn’t win the whole thing, they got to advance several rounds and compete closely with the best tennis players in the country. We had great results at an L4 Doubles tournament in Scottsdale where Kade Talbot won the tournament in 18U and Anjani Vickneswaran got 2nd in 14U. Great job guys. We move from Scottsdale to El Paso, where Aneesh Burra got 2nd place in doubles of the L4. In the same tournament, Lincoln Baldonado got 3rd place in singles and Nandini Gupta got the doubles championship and the 3rd place in singles. Great results for our players! We’ll keep you posted about our accomplishments! Be sure to stop by court 1 and 2 between 5 to 7pm Mondya through Thursday to say hello and watch these amazing young athletes and we are doing to get these results!
