Exciting New Club Software Coming to Gold Key
This February, we’re excited to transition to CourtReserve, a new member platform designed to make your club experience smoother, faster, and more convenient. The move to CourtReserve will take place throughout the month of February, and once complete, members will be able to book courts online anytime, from anywhere—no phone calls, no waiting, no guesswork. You’ll see real-time court availability, manage reservations, and make changes easily from your phone or computer.

Beyond court booking, CourtReserve puts more control in your hands. Members will be able to sign up for clinics, leagues, and events online, receive timely updates and notifications, and keep everything organized in one place. Our goal is to make the transition as seamless as possible while delivering a better, more flexible experience that lets you spend less time on logistics and more time enjoying the club.

Greg Beers Memorial Event
In loving memory of Greg Beers, we will be honoring 10 years since his passing with a special tennis event on Saturday, April 18th. This tribute fundraiser is held in memory of Greg Beers, the father of our tennis pro, Katie Beers, and will raise funds in support of stroke education and research at the University of Iowa. Katie wanted to share this information early to help promote what will be a meaningful and impactful day for our community. In addition to being Katie’s father, Greg was also a regular participating pro in the legendary Gold Key Pro-Am, which ran for over two decades. He was an outstanding professional and incredibly entertaining to watch on court, leaving a lasting impression on players and fans alike.

The event will begin with morning drills at 9:00 a.m., followed by lunch, and continue with afternoon play until 3:00 p.m. Players of all levels are welcome, with a special invitation extended to Try Level players, as Greg loved sharing the game he cherished and truly believed tennis was for everyone. This is an opportunity to come together through tennis to honor a life well lived, support an important cause, and connect as a community. Both players and non-playing supporters are welcome, and children ages 8 and up may register to participate.

Registration is available at the front desk or online using the link below. Registration fees are $50 for adults, $35 for students, $25 for kids ages 8 to 18, and $20 for supporters who would like to join for lunch only without playing tennis. Payment will be collected on the day of the event via Venmo or cash. We hope you will join us for a special day of tennis, remembrance, and community.

D-Backs Viewing Parties in the New Sports Bar
Welcome to The Den, where Saturdays are loud, beers are cold, and every pitch matters. This is the official D-backs game-day headquarters with big screens everywhere, cold beers, and food that shows up clutch when you need it most. We’ll be sweating bets, yelling at umps, and living every inning like it’s October. D-backs fans and opposing fans alike are welcome, just know this: healthy trash talk is required. Keep it fun, keep it loud, keep it competitive. Come talk your talk, defend your team, risk the parlay, and don’t expect a quiet bar. This is THE DEN. For more information, email luis@goldkeyracquetclub.com.

Saturday Men’s Interclub Updates
Our 4.5+ Men’s Interclub team is having an outstanding season and currently sits in 2nd place as we head into the final stretch. This Saturday is a great opportunity to come out and support the team while enjoying some truly high-level tennis, featuring former and current college players competing at a fast, competitive pace.

Join us on Saturday, February 28th at 2:00 p.m. to take in the action, enjoy our new bar menu, and soak up the beautiful weather while watching some of the best tennis our club has to offer. Whether you’re a fellow competitor, tennis fan, or just looking for a great way to spend your Saturday afternoon, it’s a perfect chance to experience the energy of Interclub play.

Looking ahead to March, we’ll be hosting three home matches on March 14th, 21st, and 28th, giving members plenty of opportunities to come out, cheer on the team, and be part of the excitement as we push toward the postseason. Come support the squad and enjoy great tennis, great food, and great company.

Special Friday Night All Level Clinic Social
Join us for our Friday Night All-Level Clinic Social on Friday, February 27th, open to both members and non-members. New Session for Junior Academy
The next session of our 2026 Junior Academy kicks off the week of February 2nd, and we’re excited to welcome players of all levels back on court. Each session runs for four weeks, and athletes are welcome to join at any point during the session. Please note that Future Stars, our introductory tiny tots program, now meets on Fridays at 6:00 p.m., offering a fun and engaging start for our youngest players.

To help us plan staffing and court usage effectively, we kindly ask families to register and submit payment at the beginning of each session.
