CourtReserve Is in Full Effect

CourtReserve is now fully operational and should be used for all adult clinic registrations and court reservations. Members can use CourtReserve to view real-time court availability, register for clinics and events, manage account information, and make reservations from a phone or computer.

The system can be accessed through the club website at www.goldkeyracquetclub.com by selecting Member Portal at the top of the page. Coming soon, we will also be releasing a dedicated Gold Key Racquet Club app in the Apple and Google app stores, making it even easier to manage club activities, make reservations, and receive important club updates.

If you have not yet updated your payment method in CourtReserve, please do so at your earliest convenience. Anyone experiencing difficulty accessing or updating an account should contact the front desk at 602-993-1900.

 

Summer Showdown Championship Night — Saturday, August 8

After 10 full weeks of fierce, fast-paced, and unforgettable tennis, our Summer Showdown is officially headed to Championship Night. The rallies have been long, the strategy has been sharp, and every team has battled hard for every point. Now it all comes down to one final night.

On Saturday evening, August 8, all three teams will take the court one last time as they compete for the League Champion title and the year-long bragging rights that come with it. Expect high energy, loud cheering sections, and the competitive fire that has defined this entire season. Get ready, Championship Night is going to be electric.

 

August Adult Clinic Updates

Beginning August 3, we will be making several updates to the adult clinic schedule. On Mondays at 7:00 p.m., the Intermediate Plus clinic will become Advanced. Tuesday’s schedule will remain the same. On Wednesdays, the 8:00 p.m. Intermediate Plus clinic will become Advanced, while the 7:00 p.m. Advanced clinic will become Top Gun.

We are also adding a new Singles Point Play clinic on Thursdays from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. The Friday 6:00 p.m. All Level clinic will become Intermediate, and we are adding a new 6:00 p.m. Beginner clinic. On Saturdays, the 8:00 a.m. Intermediate Plus clinic will become Advanced, while the 8:00 a.m. Advanced and Advanced Live Ball clinics will become Top Gun, now offered as a 90-minute clinic. On Sundays, the 9:00 a.m. Intermediate Plus clinic will become Advanced.

Tuesday Night Men’s Doubles

Tuesday Night Men’s Doubles continues to offer a great combination of competition, camaraderie, and social time, with play beginning each week at 7:00 p.m. Courts are grouped by level to help create balanced and enjoyable matchups, while the rotating format keeps each week fresh and engaging.

Members receive priority access, with non-members joining as space allows. After the matches, many players stay to unwind with drinks and snacks in the Sports Bar. To be added to the weekly list, please contact Cheryl at cheryl@goldkeyracquetclub.com.

 

Arrowhead Tennis Club Exchange — Saturday, September 26

Get ready for a high-energy night of competition, community, and great tennis as Arrowhead Tennis Club and Gold Key Racquet Club team up for a special Inter-Club Exchange Night.

On Saturday evening, September 26, players from both clubs will come together at Gold Key Racquet Club for fun, social, and competitive match play under the lights. This event will be open to all levels, with level-based matchups, fast-paced rotations, and plenty of club-vs-club bragging rights on the line.

Exact start time, format details, pairings, sign-up information, and cost will be released soon, but for now, mark your calendar. This is shaping up to be a standout night for both club communities.

 

SWITA Junior Intensive — Saturday, August 22

Our August SWITA Junior Intensive is designed for players who are ready to take a more serious step into competitive training. This invitational camp focuses on high-energy drills, structured match play, and coaching that emphasizes accountability, discipline, and growth.

Players will be pushed to raise their level while building confidence and developing the habits needed to compete at a higher standard. The session will take place on Saturday, August 22 at 6:00 p.m. The cost is $85 and includes dinner. Space is limited, and this is a great opportunity for athletes who are ready to challenge themselves and continue progressing in their development.

Junior Academy Starts Back the Week of August 3

Our Junior Academy kicks off its new season the week of August 3. Sessions run in four-week blocks, and it is never too late to join.

Did you know you can now book and reserve your junior’s session online? Simply log into your account through CourtReserve and search for the desired class.
