Sizzler Adult Doubles Tournament

     We’re excited to invite all male and female members, waitlisted members, and non-members to participate in our upcoming Men’s and Women’s Doubles event on Saturday, September 28th, and Sunday, September 29th. This competition features Men’s 7.0 and Women’s 6.5 combined NTRP ratings, ensuring a competitive and enjoyable experience for all players. Each team is guaranteed at least two matches, with the main draw consisting of best-of-three sets. If the match is tied, a 10-point tiebreaker will be played instead of a third set. The back draw will feature an 8-game pro set with no-ad scoring.

    In addition to thrilling matches, all attendees will receive player gift bags, and trophies will be awarded to the champions and finalists. The entry fee is $30 per player for members and waitlisted members, and $40 per player for non-members. Saturday will kick off with the first rounds, and the excitement will continue on Sunday with the semifinals and finals. Don’t miss this opportunity to compete, have fun, and connect with fellow players!

 

Men’s Interclub

       Men’s Interclub is starting up again, and we’re excited to announce the return of the Saturday afternoon 4.5+ Men’s Interclub! The action kicks off on Saturday, September 27th, at 2 p.m., with your pros Cody and Johnny leading the charge alongside several of our skilled members. The format will feature five courts of high-level doubles, promising some thrilling matches. A schedule of Gold Key’s home matches will be posted in the pro shop, so feel free to drop by, grab a beverage, and enjoy some top-notch tennis. Don’t miss out on this exciting season of competitive play! 

 

Thursday Ladies Night

      Our Thursday Ladies Night has seen great success, with 2 or 3 courts filled each week. It’s been fantastic to see so many of you enjoying the evening of tennis, fun, and camaraderie. The event starts at 7 p.m. and is free for members, while non-members are welcome to join for a $12 guest fee.     We are thrilled to announce an exclusive opportunity for our Elite and Pre-Elite athletes! On Friday, September 13th, at 5:00 PM, we will host a live webinar at the Club House in collaboration with Athlete Zero, featuring a top sports psychologist and nutritionist. This event is designed to provide our athletes with expert insights into the crucial role of sports counseling and nutrition in achieving peak performance.

    During the session, our experts from Athlete Zero will delve into the importance of mental health and proper nutrition in sports, offering practical strategies for managing stress, building mental resilience, and optimizing diet for improved energy and recovery. This webinar is a must-attend for anyone serious about enhancing their athletic performance.

     The best part? This event is entirely free for our Elite and Pre-Elite group members. We also warmly invite parents to join, as understanding these critical aspects is essential in supporting your athlete’s journey. Junior Tennis Academy

     The new session of After School Tennis and  Junior Academy begins the  week of September 2nd. Each session runs for 4 weeks, but late starts are always welcomed.  There is a calendar showing the complete season on the back of the Academy brochure to help you plan. US Open Watch Party

    Join us on Sunday, September 8th, for an exciting U.S. Open Finals Watch Party, exclusively for our members! Come together to enjoy drinks, snacks, and great company as we watch the thrilling conclusion of the U.S. Open. We’re excited to offer the Honey Deuce, the signature cocktail of the U.S. Open, to add a special touch to the event. This gathering is free for all members, so don’t miss out on the chance to experience the finals in a fun and lively atmosphere. See you there!  

 

Massage Therapy

   Meet Kayla Mullen, our skilled massage therapist with over four years of experience. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and a background as a collegiate athlete, Kayla has an exceptional understanding of the body and its needs. She is currently offering a special rate for new clients: $70 for a 60-minute session! Packages are available for those interested.
